OM-A880 POS devices are based on the Android system and have all the Android functionality. However, the devices have been modified for enhanced security due to UAE regulations and the way banks operate in the region. As a result, most of the core Android functionality is unavailable. That is not bad, as it eases the interaction with the device and diminishes the chances of accidental settings changes.

Network International supplies OM-A880 with the Fortis app preinstalled. That means Fortis loads automatically upon turning on the device, so you don’t have to launch the app manually.

Once the device is on, you can leverage all the features of our product. That means you can sell, enter prices, apply discounts, and perform many other actions from the application. In the final stage, you select the payment option and ask the client to pay. The Fortis app connects to the payment provider, processes the payment via our partners, confirms the payment, updates information, and prints a receipt.
