Adding a Location

Location is an object in your Fortis database which represents your shop. You can have several Locations linked to one Merchant, as well as several POS Terminals linked to one Location. You need this object to analyze sales data — for instance, to compare sales in different shops. Let’s see how to add a new Location to your Fortis database.

Add Location​

  1. Sign in to your Fortis POS Platform at https://my.fortis.world/auth/login
  2. Go to Settings → Locations.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Fill in the form. Required fields are marked red.
  5. Once you’ve finished the form, click Add.

Edit Location​

If you need to make changes to your Location info:

  1. Go to Settings → Locations.
  2. Find your Location in the list and open its menu.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make all the changes and click Save.

Delete Location​

If you don't run your Location anymore, you may consider to remove it from the list:

  1. Go to Settings → Locations.
  2. Find your Location in the list and open its menu.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm your action by clicking Delete once again.

Done! You have added a new Location. If you have several Locations, keep adding until you’ve added all of them. Once all the info is presented, proceed to adding Employees.
